Sadly, it ends

Well, not a very satifying way to go. Still, there looks like a lot of potential on the horizon. First priority must be to sign Gaborik. Period. Lundqvist. Staal, Sanguinetti, Gilroy, Girardi. Then what. We need goals.

This is Keenan Jr. signing off until something signficant happens.

Let's Go Rangers!

Disaster

The balls came off today. They beat us like a drum in every way. We were outplayed, outmuscled and out coached. Voros for Orr? That didn't cost us too much.

Hard to have confidence in game 7.

3-1

What an effort by the King!!!! Henrik pulled that one out for us. Drury put it right after the game. Time to go into Washington acting like we're down 3-1.

Let's Go Rangers!!!!!!!

2-0

Tremendous effort today. Coming home up 2. What could be better. Being Home up 3 maybe?

LETS GO RANGERS!!!!

I was wrong! We made it!

And good on them. The playoffs are the playoffs. I want the Bruins. Still not sold on Tim Thomas. Who knows where they'll go. Can we sign Gaborik today?

14-2-4

How do you figure this team???  Masterpiece tonight.  And how did we ever let Avery go?

On to Carolina, where last time we laid an egg.  Gotta have this one.

Tough Loss

Another 3rd period fade. Had hopes for Redden with Torts but he was brutal again. If it weren't for Manny Fernandez, it would have been a lost weekend.

the hell with Milbury

How does anybody who traded Luongo qualify to comment on anything? Great win today. They were gassed in the 3rd and maybe a little intimidated but a win's a win. Fun to watch again.

Big Two Days

Probably a little early for them to gel but 3 out of 4 points would be nice this Sun/Mon

New Team

I like the deals. Antropov is a monster. Morris can deal. And we know about Sean. Torts is the cherry on top. Tough sched ahead but we begin on the Island where should pulp those guys.

Dawes-once every ten games
Prucha-never the same since the knee injury
Kalinan-means "dead wood" in Russian

On to the playoffs

A New Low

The Devils score a goal and the Rangers turn to dust. Incredibly disappointing. Time for new leadership and if it's Pat Quinn, this blog ends. Schoney is the logical guy, unless there's someone new and interesting in the wings. Pelino and Pearn better go too. Power play is pathetic.

It can't hurt to bring Avery back. Some guts. Colton is the only other guy with them. Kudos to him for dropping that punk Rupp.

Shut Out By Rask

I went to the game in Boston. Tuuka Rask is a fine netminder. 21 years old. Gonna be there for a decade. Tim Thomas looked nervous.

However, none of that deals with the fact that if this Ranger team does not find a goal scorer, they are in bad shape.

Right now, we couldn't hit water if we fell out of a boat.

The Break

4-1-1 going into the break. We'll take it. Lot's to prove in the second half.

First half stars: Henrik, Gomer, Z, Nas

Busts: Redden, Roszival, Kalinin

4-0

When does a 4-0 victory not seem like a 4-0 victory. When it's last night's game. Engblom said it best after the game...Redden, Roszival, Kalinan. Aaaaaaah. Sanguinetti now!
